In the past, I’ve had several problems keeping track of all the loyalty programs I signed up for. It seems that every single company these days has one, and to make it more difficult, barely any program’s points has the same dollar value.
Using point values from The Boarding Area & The Points Guy (two of the best sites for loyalty / credit card information), I built a tool to track how much money your loyalty points are really worth. Starwood Points are some of the most valuable around, especially with the Marriott / Starwood merger happening. Some of the least valuable points are the minor hotel brands, like Club Carlson, IHG and Hilton.
